We are seeking highly ambitious and energetic people to work carefully with our customers in purchasing the best product for their specific needs. Sales Associates work every weekend and several evenings – averaging 42-45 hours a week.

Sales Associates are paid on an hourly basis at $10.00 per hour through training. At any time up to 9 months following date of hire, these sales associates can elect a one-time option to convert to commission earnings. Once the sales associate elects to convert to commissions earning, to occur no later than 9 months following the date of hire, all sales compensation will be on a commission basis with a floor provided under Section 7i.

American maintains an attractive and competitive commission program for its sales associates; commission is normally paid on the profit of an item sold and delivered; the amount of commission earned will vary by department, the item is sold in and the category of the product.
