The Customer Assistance MIT will enter the year-long training program (CADET) which addresses many of the key responsibilities and functions of the Customer Assistance Manager position. The ongoing training is focused on developing a management candidate over a one-year period so they are prepared to step into the Customer Assistance Management position when the opportunity presents itself.
A mentor will provide on-the-job training or one-on-one training sessions. Some of the training topics include: Time Management, Handling Emotional Behavior, Controlling Expenses, Writing Schedules, Monitoring Daily Tasks, Recruitment, Selection, and Retention of Staff, Harassment and Discrimination, and Facilitating Department Certification Processes.
Qualifications:: The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or related field and will have a minimum of 1 year of related experience. Lesser education plus 5-7 years of related management experience may be acceptable. MIT candidates must be open to permanent placement in more than one store. Those candidates willing to relocate to multiple facilities and markets may be given greater consideration during the selection process.
