The successful completion of American's sales manager training program, Leadership Education and Advancement Program (LEAP), will prepare you for your placement as a Sales Manager.

Operations Manager – The store Operations Manager is a highly visible position requiring strong leadership and employee relations skills. As an "Ops" Manager, you will provide overall leadership of store support functions through managing staffing levels, schedules, and the performance and development of hourly and supervisory staff in the areas of warehouse, floor crew, customer assistance, housekeeping and maintenance. You'll also serve as a conduit for communication between sales and support areas, assisting sales with marketing and merchandising activities. Individuals with superior personal customer interaction skills and the ability to train and develop a staff that provides extraordinary customer experiences, combined with specialized training in the areas of inventory/loss control, safety (including OSHA requirements and regulations), customer service, and warehousing/logistics, will be well-equipped for this position.

Contract Account Sales Management - The Contract Accounts Division is designed to develop working partnerships with builders of single and multi-family new construction, kitchen design centers and remodels. In this position you will spend the majority of your time building relationships with accounts in the housing industry.   You will work with all areas of our company; sales, deliveries, service, and accounting to exceed the expectations of your accounts. The successful completion of our Building Leadership, Developing Relationships (BLDR) training program will position you to be successful as you move to your new account manager position.
